Sustainable Resources and Infrastructure in PR

FSB's environmental grantee partners, through the Unidxs Por El Ambiente initiative, devised a map of resources and sustainable infrastructure in Puerto Rico. The objective is to create an emergency communication network with information accessible to the community that serves as a preparation tool for the hurricane season or any natural disaster. To add information about a center with sustainable resources and/or infrastructure, you can complete our Resources and Infrastructure Form and/or contact us at info@fsbpr.org.

Planning for hurricane season and other potential natural disasters can be stressful, and with a more active hurricane season in the foreseeable future, this could be especially daunting. When preparing a family emergency plan, we recommend identifying and contacting the closest resource and/or infrastructure to your home. Some are run by community service organizations that can channel aid and organize activities throughout the year. Others are ready to support the neighbors in their community, offer a meeting place and channel the aid received in case of an emergency.
